Jan. 12, 2012 The final project for students in Culinary Arts were to selected recipes, prepared meals with a work timeline, and serve guests. Students used ChooseMyPlate.com to guide their menu. Christmas Cookie ExchangeDecember 13, 2011 Students selected recipes they would like to make. After completing the recipes student shared what they made with the other classes.
Students then wrapped their variety of cookies and took them home to share with their family. Some of the cookies that they made were: *Double Chocolate Chip *Sugar Cookies *Gingerbread Cookies *Chocolate Gingerbread Drops *Star Mint Meringues *Butter Spritz *Oatmeal Raisin *Chocolate Truffle A few student reflections: The skills I have learned will help me when I go to college for Culinary Arts. I learned how to use a cookie press. : ) The skills that I learned in making cookies will help me decorate at a bakery. |
