Printer won't turn on.
- Make sure the printer's power cord is plugged into a working wall outlet or power source. To make sure the power outlet is working plug in another object, such as a lamp, to tell.
- If power cord is correctly plugged into a working wall outlet, yet printer won't turn on; unplug the printer's power cord from the wall for five minutes and then plug back in. Attempt to turn on the printer.
- If printer still won't turn on, contact the tech department.
Printer won't print
- Make sure that your computer is connected and printing to the printer located in your room. To check which printer your computer is connected to: print a document, a print menu should pop up with pre-printing options. At the top of the menu, there should be a Printer section that allows you to choose which printer to connect to. If your printer is not the printer that is showing up, click the up/down arrows on the left side of the bubble to find your printer.
2. Next, make sure that your printer has the correct-sized paper in the correct tray. Also, make sure that there isn't to much paper located in the tray as this may cause the printer to not grab paper, making it seem like its not working.
